Dear Athena,
I need desperate help and advice from the one and only wisest of this earthly place. How can someone walk into my loves life and steal his love from me. He shall love me no more. Demetrius and I were once madly in love with each other.
I was loved very much before Hermia arrived. My father introduced Demetrius and me. His father and mine used to work together at the blacksmithing shop. They were the best of friends. His father used to baby-sit me when I was a young girl. My father also watched Demetrius and he dramatically fell in love with him. He always told me he was the perfect guy for me. I have always thought Demetrius was amazing in every way shape or form.
Hermia says “God speed, fair Helena! Wither away?”
“Well if I am really this fair why does Demetrius love you more than he can love me? Why does Demetrius love your fair and not mine? I have known him longer than your will ever know him. “The more I love, the more he hateth me.” I feel so horrible! Hermia has told me she is going to run away with her beloved Lysander. She is my best friend and she is cheating on her fiancée. I don’t care is she cheats because then Demetrius will be mad at her and fall back in love with me. Shall it work? Or how can I act to get my beloved Demetrius to love ME again?

ReplyDeleteYou have a great calamity on your hands. Obviously this man is a sly cheater who does not deserve you. If you really are this madly in love then do not tell on Hermia because this plan of yours is totally going to back fire. You should probably let them your friend go and leave him nothing else but you. Then he will fall dee[ly in love with you again and your will be free of this Hermia pest.

ReplyDeleteThere are many thing you could do in this situation. For one you could just let Hermia and Lysander run away like you said, which would be REALLY smart because then you's have Demetrius all to yourself. After they leave all you have to do is pretend you're no longer interested, and act like Hermia has and toss away his love. Then he'll realize that he wants YOU. I sincerely hope this helps.
