Dear Athena Goddess of war and wisdom,
I have an issue. I am deeply in love with a man named Demetrius when he clearly does not love me. Just a few recent months ago he was in love with me as he told me many times . He gave me flowers,trinkets,and chocolates by the armful, but then Hermia my dearest friend walked into the room as I was talking to Demetrius. His eyes immediately drifted and his heart was ripped from my clutches. He then got up and met her. She then ran out of the room for her heart belonged to another.
From then on he has ignored me constently and has shown me no interest whatsoever. I know that my friend Hermia is going to leave wth her lover Lysander. My plan is to telll Demetrius so that he will trust me more and see that she is a lieing conieving witch. I really am doing this though so That I can just see my love. I really am deeply conflicted, but am extremely hurt over this issue. I must win his heart and he must be mine in the end what is you advice for me Greatest Goddess Athena.

ReplyDeleteThis kind of problem happens often. What i advise you to do, although she may be your best friend, is make her tell Demetrius that she does not love him! Maybe by the pain of her words he will come flying back to your arms. But the heart wants what the heart wants. You cannot force him to love you, although you can influence him of how great your love would be if he was with you.

ReplyDeleteYou shall continue to love Demetrius. Get Hermia out the picture. Once she is no longer you shall be able to be loved again. His heart shall be yours. Hermia is the only thing in your way. She can not hold your love. She has to be stopped. Show Demterius how you are better than Hermia.
