Dear Athena,
I have a very large problem. I need help and you are the only one I can turn to, now. I love this girl Hermia, very much. Her father, loves and would prefer me to marry her, instead of that despicable other, who plans on marrying her, also.
I have the upper hand in being in her father’s good graces, but he wins when it comes to her love. That’s my problem. She loves the other guy. It’s a wonder when obviously I am the better man.
Recently, my old girlfriend, gave me information on my loves whereabouts for tomorrow night. Usually, she stalks me and pleads for me to be with her, but I guess people can change. I do hope she doesn’t follow me to the woods tomorrow night, for if she does, I would surely disgrace myself in front of Hermia.
Also, her father, sentenced her to death if she doesn’t marry me. But, I’ve heard tell that the Duke gave her another option. To become a nun. I do hope she doesn’t do that, because then her and I will both be lonely. Her especially.
So tomorrow, I adventure out on my bicycle, to try to find my love. I hope you can provide me with the insight to fulfill my quest. To have Hermia, or not, I will be happy to just have an answer.
Signed,
Lost to Love
