Ethan A.

Dear Athena,
I have a huge problem I am in a play about Perimas and Thisbe is and I am the most, manly of all the actors but I am being forced to play the princess This be and I am just growing my beard out. If I do play this character then I will have to shave my beard and talk like women. All the other actors are going to call me a wossie.
The real problem is that Perimas is the weirdest guy I have ever seen. He thinks he should play every part and thinks he is the best man in the whole world. I don’t know how I will exert any energy into acting like I’m in love with him.

  1. Dear Flute,

I understand your problem. I remember when i was growing out my first beard. Shaving this beard was one of the saddest day of my life. Playing a girl part would hurt my pride a lot so I would not do it if I were you.
