I have a problem and I need some advice. At first everything was perfectly fine, I met the love of my life, Demetrius. He is everything and more! Demetrius is as perfect as a God. Right when I laid eyes on him, I fell in love. I am pretty much obsessed I hate to say. He has told me that he feels the same about me too. I loved life at that moment. I had and still do have a best friend, Hermia. She is extremely pretty; she has a lot of men in love with her. Which for me is a bad thing.
Demetrius suddenly changes. Like hot to cold, white to black, up and down. I don’t get how his love was mine then it all went to my best friend. Hermia got all of Demetrius’ love. She is still my friend but it just makes me so jealous. I know that she doesn’t love him but still. That doesn’t matter, he still loves her and it tears me up inside.
Hermia loves Lysander; they are getting married, secretly. Hermia is supposed to marry Demetrius.
I am going to go tell Demetrius about the secret marriage. This might hurt my friendship with Hermia but I don’t care, as long I get to see the love of my life. This may lead Demetrius to love me again. If it doesn’t what do I do? How can I get him to love me again?

Dear I love Demetrius,
ReplyDeleteI understand your frustration completely. However, the choice to tell Demetrius about Hermia's secret marriage may not work to your advantage as you hoped. Also as her best friend it would only be right to let her marry her love. I think you might find that Demetrius would come back into your arms as well. Don't expect Demetrius to ever feel the same for you as he did before.
