Dear Athena,
I have a huge problem that is just eating me up inside. I was hoping that you might be able to help me with this tragic issue. I have two boys that love me very much. My parents insist that I marry one of the boys but I love the other one so dearly that I don’t know what I should do.
The boy that I want to marry is just as good as the boy that my parents want me to marry but they do not realize this. The boy I want to marry is just so very romantic and great in every way! He has everything I could possibly ever want in my life. My parents just do not understand.
The other part is that I have a best friend that is in love with the boy that my parents want me to marry. She is in love with him and I am not so I would almost feel guilty marrying him and taking her dream away. I also do not want to disappoint my parents though. I need some advice, please, I am begging you, help me!
Sincerely, Mrs. Confusion
what love wants love gets. If your parents don't think that the guy you love is worthy of you then they don;t trust you and/or know you. If you really love the guy then your parents will give it a chance. If not then spent half of the week with one and half with the other to make them happy.
